Olton Castle, situated next to the Arz River in the old village of Olton, is a fortified complex built on a 320,000 square meter site. The castle, with its remaining structures, appears to have been a military fortress. It was first constructed by the Parthians and used until the 12th century. According to academic estimates, most of the castle buildings are now buried underground.
