The Mausoleum of Ibn Yamin is located in the village of Farumd, Miyomi District, 180 km from Shahroud and 90 km before Sabzevar. Originally a mud and clay structure in disarray, the mausoleum was rebuilt thanks to the efforts of Abdul Rafi’a Haqiqat. This striking and beautiful hexagonal structure was transformed, its beautiful corners resembling blooming flowers, and the inner hexagonal tomb like a floral banner. Ibn Yamin’s mausoleum is surrounded by lush greenery. The stones at the mausoleum are hexagonal, inscribed with information about the great poet. The restoration work on this historical building included revitalizing the area, planting over 3,000 flowers and ornamental shrubs, installing lighting according to the mausoleum’s original design, repairing walls, replacing damaged bricks, and changing the water system. The entire building and surrounding area cover 1,213 square meters. In 2018, after 14 years of effort by the Semnan Provincial Cultural Heritage Organization, the mausoleum was officially restored.
